A 33-year-old man was charged in courtroom on Thursday (Oct 12) with voyeurism after he allegedly took upskirt photos of a lady on an escalator.
The police stated they had been alerted by a member of the general public concerning the incident on Oct 10, at round 9.15am.
The person had allegedly taken upskirt pictures of a feminine sufferer whereas she was standing on an ascending escalator at Downtown MRT Station, in direction of Marina Bay Monetary Centre’s Tower 2.
The member of the general public knowledgeable the sufferer of the act and the perpetrator was stopped on the finish of the escalator, the place he was subsequently arrested by the police.
“Preliminary investigations revealed that the person is purportedly concerned in different comparable instances of voyeurism,” police added.
“Two handphones had been seized on the scene and a Central Processing Unit (CPU) was seized when a raid was carried out on the man’s residence.”
