France’s Le Maire Says Nvidia’s AI Dominance Stifles Competitors

Nvidia Corp.’s dominance in synthetic intelligence is inflicting “rising inequalities” between international locations and is stifling honest competitors, French Finance Minister <-bsp-person state=""_id":"0000018b-9176-db85-afab-bf76ee570001","_type":"00000160-6f41-dae1-adf0-6ff519590003"">Bruno Le Maire-bsp-person> warned.

“Having only one single nation with all of the applied sciences, all of the personal corporations, all the gadgets, all the talents, could be a failure for all of us,” Le Maire informed reporters on the UK’s AI Security Summit in Bletchley Park, north of London. He mentioned 92% of graphics processing items — AI accelerators — are owned by Nvidia.
