Peter White, the journalist and entrepreneur who based Laptop Enterprise Assessment (CBR), the publication which later grew to become Tech Monitorhas died. He was 69.
Tributes have been paid to the daddy and grandfather, who launched CBR in 1993 as a part of an extended and distinguished profession in publishing and tech analysis. He died earlier this month.
A journalist by commerce, Peter edited Datalink Journal for six years earlier than founding his personal enterprise, Computerwire, in 1984, offering the UK’s first every day tech information service.
Below this umbrella, he launched a spread of publications together with CBR, which began life as a print journal in 1993 (it was rebranded as Tech Monitor in 2020).
