GR Manufacturing Companies, a wholly-owned subsidiary of GR Engineering Companies, has secured a contract with INPEX Operations Australia to offer operations and upkeep help providers to the Ichthys LNG upstream and downstream services.
The three-year contract has an estimated worth of $28 million and comes with two three-year extension choices, GR Engineering Companies stated in an announcement on November 14.
The scope of labor includes offering manufacturing and technical roles to INPEX as required to complement their enterprise and help for upkeep shutdown planning and execution on all services.
Work on the undertaking is anticipated to start on December 1, 2023.

The Ichthys LNG is led by INPEX because the undertaking operator, alongside main companion TotalEnergies and the Australian subsidiaries of CPC Company Taiwan, Tokyo Fuel, Osaka Fuel, Kansai Electrical Energy, Jera and Toho Fuel.
At its peak manufacturing, Ichthys LNG is able to producing as much as 8.9 million tons every year (mtpa) of LNG and 1.65 mtpa of liquefied petroleum fuel (LPG). The primary LNG cargo was shipped in October 2018 and the milestone of delivery the five hundredth LNG cargo from this undertaking was marked in March this 12 months.
Ichthys LNG’s 890-kilometer fuel export pipeline delivers fuel and a few condensate from the Ichthys Explorer central processing facility within the Browse Basin to onshore processing services at Bladin Level close to Darwin.
