I purchased some Arctic MX-6 and I tried to re-paste it (I lined each dies however not the entire CPU) so I do not know if that’s the right approach to do a laptop computer chip with two separate dies on a standard substrate?
It runs a little bit cooler now however not by a lot one core nonetheless reaches the TJMAX however not all 4 like earlier than so I do not assume I did this proper or did I?
The CPU in query is an Intel Core i5-8350U
The CPU is 4 core eight threads and has an built-in video card oops excuse me GPU LoL
So please let me know if I did this proper or if I ought to do it once more and what the proper means is to use thermal paste to a laptop computer CPU as this was my first time doing a BGA (soldered) laptop computer CPU
Thank You prematurely
